I designed my web site for a window with a width of at least 1024 pixels and for versions 4 and higher of Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) and Navigator.  Because I am in the process of converting my web site to be compliant with HTML 4.01 Transitional and CSS 2.x, this web site eventually will only support the current versions of MSIE, Opera and Firefox and may support the older versions. In addition, I may begin to require that you have JavaScript enabled. I currently test my web site with MSIE 7.0.5730.11, Opera 9.27 and Firefox 2.0.0.14. To see my photographs with good quality, your video display board will need to display at least 65K colors.

The main purpose of my home page is to impart a limited, but interesting, amount of information about me, a childfree single man who lives on South Whidbey Island, WA, USA, (Freeland, WA; Langley, WA; Clinton, WA) which is nearer to Seattle, WA than Bellevue, WA and Redmond, WA.   The information about me is on this page and these pages: photography gallery (Mt. St. Helens, Maryland, California, Oregon and Washington, soon: my garden and Italy - Mt.  Explanation of my remembrance.

Childfree definition or definition of childfree :  A non-parent or a non-guardian who is not childless, is not a fence-sitter, has not, is not and will never procreate, has not, is not and will never be any type of parent, and has not, is not and will never be any type of guardian of a minor.

To determine your actual childfree status based upon the aforementioned childfree definition, I welcome you to take the Childfree Or Not Childfree Test.

I created three special childfree holiday weekends (childfree holidays) for childfree people, Childfree Women's Weekend, Childfree Men's Weekend and Childfree Pride Weekend, as a way to honor the childfree women and childfree men for their excellent childfree choice and the best choice that they could have made in relation to children. Childfree Women's Weekend occurs every year on the weekend of May's second Saturday or second Sunday. The first Childfree Women's Weekend occurred in 2004 on May 8 and May 9, which was preceded by Childfree Woman's Day on Sunday, May 11, 2003. The fourth Childfree Women's Weekend occurs/occurred in 2007 on May 12 and May 13. Childfree Men's Weekend occurs every year on the weekend of July's third Saturday. The first Childfree Men's Weekend occurred on July 17 and July 18, 2004. Childfree Pride Weekend occurs every year on the weekend of September's fourth Saturday. The first Childfree Pride Weekend occurred on September 25 and September 26, 2004.

The childfree women and childfree men should be proud of your childfree choice. Your choice allows you to maintain or increase your freedom, independence, free time, sleep time, emotional resources, financial resources, spiritual resources, psychological resources, career success, life success and, most important, your happiness.

Petfree definition or definition of petfree :  A person who is single or two persons who are in a long-term committed relationship with each other who do not and shall never own at least one pet, do not and shall never foster own at least one pet, do not and shall never step own at least one pet, is not and shall never be a guardian of at least one pet, and is not and shall never be a pet sitter.

I created two special events, Evolution Weekend and Darwinmas Eve/Darwinmas Day, for heathens for a few reasons. First, as a way to celebrate our own special days. Second, to take back Easter from the Christians considering the Christians stole Easter from the Germans, Sumerians, Chaldeans and Celts according to The origin of Easter. Third, to take back 12/24 and 12/25 from the Christians considering that they stole 12/24 and 12/25 from the Pagans and Romans according to Theories regarding the origin of the date of Christmas. Fourth, to show defiance against Christianity's, and to a lesser extent all religions based upon a god, stupidity, insanity, inconsistencies, contradictions, illogic, evilness, resource waste of its believers, restriction of people's freedom, lack of ethics and immorality. Evolution Weekend occurs every year on the weekend that contains the first Sunday following the full moon that occurs on or next after the vernal equinox. The first Evolution Weekend occurred in 2004 on April 10 and April 11, which was preceded by Evolution Sunday on Sunday, April 20, 2003. From 2005 until 2012, Evolution Weekend will occur on the following weekends: 2005 - March 26 and 27; 2006 - April 15 and 16; 2007 - April 7 and 8; 2008 - March 22 and 23; 2009 - April 11 and 12; 2010 - April 3 and 4; 2011 - April 23 and 24, and 2012 - April 7 and 8. Darwinmas Eve and Darwinmas Day occurs every year on December 24 (Eve) and December 25 (Day). The first Darwinmas Eve and Darwinmas Day occurred in 2002.

In support of the recent decision, in late June 2002, by the the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, here is my version of the USA's Pledge of Allegiance :

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America; and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under Darwin, instead of an imaginary God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Here is, in my not so humble opinion, the greatest sentence created in the history of the world :

1st Amendment to the USA's Constitution :

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Some of the problem entities are President George Bush, Vice President Cheney, conservative christians, homophobes, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, the law that allows the President to torture prisoners and to violate the US Constitution, the Patriot Act, the immoral and corrupt Republican party, IsItLoVeOrHaTe04 (IsItLoVeOrHaTe04@aol.com), Sexynaughtybaby3 (Sexynaughtybaby3@aol.com), RULEZ OF PREY (RulezOfPrey@aol.com), Shypuppy2004 (Shypuppy2004@aol.com), Leggomyeffinhalo (Leggomyeffinhalo@aol.com), Ben S Lancaster (BenSLancaster@aol.com) and GreenEyedAmI (GreenEyedAmI@aol.com). 

Go St. Louis Cardinals!  They won, at 20:25:40 PDT on 2006/10/27, Friday, the World Series 4 games to 1 game against the Detroit Tigers.
